I noticed that some people on this site participate in Marching Band. So i'm making this thread to share anything/everything on marching band from lessons to videos, how your performance went, or what you're looking forward to. Also, feel free to talk about.share any DCI stuff.
I'll start it off.
We had two competitions yesterday/this morning. We met at 6am and got home at 2am. We participated in USBANDS' National Competition and came in 16th of 24 in Group III Open with a score of 91 (out of 100). We then took the buses to Hershey Stadium where we competed in Cavalcade Of Band's Championships where we took fourth place with a score of 92. None of cared about the placement we got for very long, we had our two best runs of the whole season yesterday. We crushed the band that beat us at States by half of a point, and that's what everyone (especially the parents) actually cared about. The season officially ends this Tuesday.
