At the highest peak of the mountain and yet I still can't see the clouds. I am missing something but do not long for it as others, how can I be complete without that piece?
Aree’s brows furrowed at the thought, she wasn't one to feel empty or lonely but at the moment she did. She was the alpha of lands that held no one but herself. She need someone to interact with, a few pawns to play with. She needed someone to perform for; she was after all trained to be that way, by herself of course. She couldn't get the taunting feeling she had that peaked inside of her when she thought of someone to challenge her. She hadn't met anyone along those lines and it made her wonder if she was too much of a challenge for others to be complete.
But how could the creator of her own game back out because of the feelings she choose to turn away from? It didn't make any sense; she was basically playing mind games with herself trying to unscramble things that needed to be thought through entirely. She snorted as she lowered her hind legs before slowly letting her front legs slip to the ground as well. Her body collapsing naturally to the ground with a soft thud, with her ears perked as she listened while remaining focused on her thoughts. Aree wasn’t the best at many things but when it came to psychological process of the mind she covered it with ease as most did with strength or agility. Her mind ability was more than most could handle and when challengers did approach they never stayed for long. Aree needed a match; she needed someone that could entertain her as much as she could possibly entertain them. But her idea of entertainment was variety of differences compared to normal wolves.
Me… being in a different world, where mind was really over matter. It is nothing like world others see, unique as it may be it could never compare to how mine is viewed. Maybe I’m too much of a challenge for these creatures. Would I be at this peak without the story I had written for me? It’s questionable but is it something a great depth should be weighted upon? No I don’t need whatever is “missing” as I am not missing a fragment from this master piece.
The black and white female let out a heavy sigh before allowing her head to drop to her paws and rest there. She let her eyes close as she allowed her sense to be the one to take over completely. Perhaps she could catch the start of sweet nice dream or nightmare. But then again she hardly did dream, she usually saw nothing but a dark hole of blackness that reminded her too much of what her mind use to be.
