Cautious, deliberate movements announced the arrival of the witty female as she moved across the desert sand. Savvy had left her old home in search of a new beginning, and now, had the chance in this new land, where wolves populated the area. She had decided to settle down here, and soon met another wolf, Vladimir. The two had a pleasant conversation, but soon went their own ways. Savvy had been wandering alone in the desert when she found lush grass, tall trees, and water, obviously a place of sanity among the insanity. She had been cautious, worried of other wolves, but when she determined there were none, she continued on, excited to explore this new area. Immediately, she came to a waterfall. She stared in awe, her august orbs, staring deeply, almost as though she could see images of herself from her past. She shook her dome, and turned, glancing around, before she waded into the shallow water. It got deeper, until she was swimming, when she noticed something dark behind the waterfall. Curiosity overwhelmed her, and she swam forward, beneath the cascading water, and there, she found a cave. A smile lit up her maw, as she clambered out of the water and into the cave. Her movements were slow but slick as she wove her way through, hardly looking anywhere but straight ahead.
Her ivory pelt seemed to glow in the ever-darkening darkness, her honey orbs shining brightly with anticipation. Excitement flooded her bulk, seeping deep into her veins, the drumming of adrenaline ringing in her ears. The cave took a sudden slope, sending the wet maiden sliding down. She could hear bats above, and smelt the rats that nibbled away at something. She heard them squeak at her as she slid by on all four paws, not having fallen over yet. She continued to slide for what felt like forever, and finally, the slope ended as suddenly as it had started, sending her sprawling out. She would have to dry off before she climbed up that, she realized in dismay. She could be here all day! Quiet growl rose in her throat, but she continued to storm onward, now inspired by anger rather than excitement and adrenaline. Her steps were slightly louder now, her frustration making her seem like she was stomping her paws. She continued to move onward, grumbling and growling at the thought of waiting until she dried.
She reached the back of the cave, finally, and saw carvings. Unusual carvings. There was a two-legged creature, standing, both of their paws touching, and on each side, was the recognizable figure of a wolf, the paw of the two-legged creature touching the wolf. A sign of friendship. Beside it, there was a pawprint, and an unfamiliar print as well. She stared in confusion, and soon noticed there were many. Two-legged with wolves, two-legged with sticks, running after what looked like a deer. Savvy stared in awe, uncertain on whether or not she should fear. Her orbs remained wide as she stared, completely unaware of anything else.
