Shira chuckled when Remus said "Yes ma'am. Lean on me if you need to. I'll help you out of here. I won't leave you behind, that's a promise, even if I have to carry you out of here by the scruff of your neck," Leaning against him she said softly "I'm not broken silly" She gently nipped at his ear chuckling again. It was odd for her. She was starting to like Remus but then again she was still unsure. She pushed the feelings that were trying to surface down.
That couldn't happen now...could it? Her feelings for this male. A male she still seemed cautious of. But only just a little cautious. She still remembered the last time she trusted a male. She did benefit from it. The male happened to be her half brother but she didn't know that he would try and kill her. Shaking her head clear she said in an uneasy voice "Guess we'd better get out of here?"
He earned a chuckle from Shira at his response. He chuckled back, and nipped at her neck lightly. "I'm not broken silly" she teased, leaning against him. Her voice was so soft, so happy. Remus couldn't help but smile. No longer a grin, playboy, but instead sweet and happy. "You might as well be, the way I'm gonna treat you. I'll be your slave," he teased lightly, smiling. She spoke up again. "Guess we'd better get out of here?" She suggested, her voice uneasy. Remus figured it was cause she didn't like this place. He nodded, and began to walk, slowly, so the injured maiden beside him could keep up. His mind was spinning, his thoughts confused and lost, perhaps more than he felt even. He hated this.

"You might as well be, the way I'm gonna treat you. I'll be your slave," she heard him say and she rolled her eyes saying "Oh please no" Now she actually laughed a bit as he started to walk slowly. She slightly limped beside him and then said "So I see you scared Ladon off?" The other male seemed very much rude to her. Thinking he knew her when in fact he didn't. Then a thought hit her. What was going to happen when they got out of the caverns?
Were they going to go their seperate ways. A confused expression went across her face for a moment then without thinking she asked "Remus, what you gonna do after we get out of here?" To tell the truth she wanted to stay around Remus. He was nice and funny.
She laughed, and her voice was like liquid honey, sweet and nice. Remus smiled. She was sweet, and he liked her. She forgave him. She spoke again.
"So I see you scared Ladon off?"
Remus looked confused for a second, forgetting who Ladon was. Then, he remembered. He looked puzzled, and sniffed around, opening his maw slightly. No Ladon.
"Honestly? No. I completely forgot about him. I told him to screw off, and that was about it,"
He admitted it easily. Everything came so easily with Shira. He glanced around, looking for his claw marks. He spotted the first one, and smiled, leading the limping Shira out. They were almost out when her voice broke his thoughts.
"Remus, what you gonna do after we get out of here?"
He turned his head to look at her. His facade was unreadable as he stared at her, trying to interfere with her thoughts. He wished he could tell what she was thinking.
"Honestly? We have to get you to somewhere safe, where there's water and food until your foot is healed. So, you're first priority,"
He smiled at her, and continued to walk until he could see the night sky just outside of the cave entrance.

She saw his confused expression before he sniffed the air then said "Honestly? No. I completely forgot about him. I told him to screw off, and that was about it," "Either way...it worked" she said smiling. She let him lead her toward the entrance of the caverns and then heard him say that he had to get her somewhere safe so her paw could heal. Her eyes slightly brightened some. "Thank you" she said sweetly. As they continued she looked up at the dark sky. The night air felt good. She breathed in then said "Quiet night tonight"
Shira spoke smoothly, a song to Remus' ears. No longer was she yelling at him, or whimpering in pain, but now she was happy.
"Yes. I'm glad it did. I wouldn't want anyone to distract us from each other. It's such a beautiful night. It's a bit like you,"
He smiled at her. Was this real Remus? Perhaps it was. He spoke like this a lot, although perhaps more flirtatious. But was this Remus speaking from his heart, or just another one of his foolish games? He wasn't sure himself.
"Thank you. Quiet night tonight"
Shira spoke softly, and Remus nodded, agreeing. He lead her across the desert. He was hoping to reach the Oasis soon, so the pair could hang out there until she was better. That was his plan.

She blinked looking at him and smirked a bit. She hadn't heard that compliment from a male like Remus. She let him lead her away from the caves and across the desert to where ever they were headed.
