Name: Asdiza
Age: Two years Two months
Gender Female
Personality: Asdiza was raised by her father mostly, who took a keen interest in her while she was in her youth. He taught her how to hunt, and how to blend in with the shadows, despite their bright coloring. Everything Asdiza knows, she owes to her father, and therefore is extremely respectful to her elders. She cherishes pack law above all else, and although currently a loner will not stop wondering until she finds what she is looking for. She is a dedicated, stubborn young femme and some even have described her as a tomboy. She doesn’t mind getting dirty, she loves the thrill of the kill and she even walks with the confidence of a large brute. She isn’t the strongest of femmes however that doesn’t mean she cannot hold her own in a fight. Asdiza was trained by her father, the best of the best, and though her frame might not look it, Asdiza can terrorize. She is a smart creature for her young age, and can probably outsmart most of the loner’s she comes in contact with, however that isn’t her style. Asdiza will only revert to those tactics only if she needs too, and is normally rather inviting. Though everyone has their bouts of bad days. Asdiza tends to hold others in high regard, and will show respect where it is due. That being said if you don’t deserve it, she won’t give it to you. First impressions are everything to her as well, make a bad one and she will not give you the opportunity to redeem yourself. She is also incredibly loyal, cross someone she loves and you will be in for one heck of retaliation.
She also bonds very well with females, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t receptive to males. She is young though and isn’t looking for love as of yet, perhaps in the future but the thought is very far for now. Her friendships come first and foremost. Although Asdiza may come off as a bit of a prude, all rules and no fun, she does enjoy playing and wrestling. She is all too curious, and can get side-tracked easily if she sees something that weighs a little more heavily on her mind. She is dedicated to her tasks though and always finishes them, though sometimes it may take a while. Asdiza is a good creature to have as an alley, and if you have her as an enemy well, it’s really too bad for you, because you are missing out. Asdiza will give her life for those she loves and it is for all the right reasons. Despite all the great things about Asdiza she comes with some bad. She is extremely sensitive about the mentioning if her body and will become a hard-core witch is you ask her in the wrong way. She can actually get sensitive about a lot of things, though she tries not to, so one should be careful with their speech. She often has a bit too much confidence in herself from time to time, perhaps over-estimating herself in a fight or coming off as cocky. In this respect she resembles a male, but don’t mention that to her, or she might try and bite your face off.
Appearance: Asdiza has two luminous orbs of yellow placed inside her head and though they may be spectacular to other to Asdiza they are nothing more than the tools she uses to see. Try not to mention the fact that they are always narrowed and glaring. There are two main colors that cross her coat in patches, gray and a bright copper. She may be a surprise to the eyes at first, as her coloring is very bright, but aside from that she bears the regular form of a Himalayan wolf. Her frame is lithe, and the fur bundles around the breast, and torso, letting the coat around the legs cling to the skin tightly. This makes her quite a runner. Around her nose, cheeks and various parts of the underbelly ivory can be seen and it blends rather nicely with the dirt brown nose at the tip of her muzzle. Around the brow and up by the ears is mostly gray, managing to capture tresses of copper between them as the coat goes along. The ears, rounded and alert are placed a little father on the side of her head than others. She stands approximately 30in. at the shoulder, making her relatively short and weighs only 95 pounds. Her form may be quite slender but it makes only for an excellent runner which she boats often in the wilds. Long legs and a nimble frame allows for this graceful creature to run for long distances and the wide set of yellow eyes can see practically for miles.
History: Born originally in India she spent her first years of life with a small pack of only four wolves. Her father was the only male in the pack, making it easy to dominate his crew of females. Not that her father was a cruel male, he was just a stern leader and his rule was law. As she grew, so did her Father’s harsh ways and where that should have perhaps pushed her away she stayed by his side tighter than ever, allowing no interference into her ears to shatter the hopes and dreams her Father had for her. The pack began to grow more females were added and eventually they were forced to find a larger home for their growing family. It started with travelling at night time but it proved to be much slower than anyone had expected and so they took to bounding across the terrain in the daytime. Though it seemed to be a good idea at the time it appeared that they were not expecting the interference of humans. They came like a giant wave and descended upon the group of wolves with malicious intent. Her father was the first to notice and he began thrashing in the wake of humans, his body contorting this way and that as he growled and snapped at human hands. They were speaking in soothing voices as if they wanted to help but the pack refused. All except small Asdiza who watched her Father with little idea of what was going on and how it would come to an end.
A dart in the side…
Brief pain in ribs…
Then darkness…
When the young female awoke the smells of India has gone, the heavy fog of humidity was now replaced with a chill of another land. The fancy foliage that surrounded her in her homeland was now replaced with firs and other strange plants she had never seen before. It was all…very strange…and so she got up and began to wander, knowing not where he family is, nor really how she got here to begin with.

There it was…the unravelling of the mind and heart. She could feel it even though she was sleeping. A tight block in her chest, constriction of her breathing and finally a hard block of metal right in the gut, jutting and poking at her insides as her frame stirred in slumber. A twitch of the ears, a nodding of the head and a motion of the leg and in her dream she was running, with not an inkling of an idea for where she was to head.
She was travelling so fast on her paws they bled. Sticks and stones jutted inside her wounds forcing her to cry out. This was but a small amount of pain compared to the hole in her heart; that bled profusely. It dripped against her heaving breast, staining the white and gold fur that resided there. It ran across the ground as deep and dark as crimson and she knew that if she was to keep running she would surely die. Despite this knowledge however the movement of her paws would not cease, nor would the beckoning of voices behind her.
“We are here, Beti!” They screamed in both English and the language she had used back home. They were sodden with accent, and it made her cry listening to them.
“Don’t go Beti! We are here! We are here!” Though the voice took no on so form it was clear that they belonged to her family as she ran from them, leaving behind in her wake a father transformed into a beast in a case.
“Come back!” It was the final scream that pierced her the most, as loud and deafening as it was. It rang in her ears as loud as a hurricane, and seemed to have the same effect on her mind.
She came awake with a start, her entire body coiled and taut. Sweat clung in beads to every part of her skin but across her forehead the fur was entirely damp. Asdiza’s breath was laboured and it took a moment for her to regain her composure. She panted in the safety of her den and wildly scanned the vicinity of it with pastel pink eyes.
“It was a dream…” She respired and the sound echoed around her.
“Just a dream…” She repeated and managed to calm herself a little as she realized where she was. Her den was dark and for this moment she wished to be outside, to rid herself from the clammy heat that now clung to her fevered body. Easily she navigated herself through the caverns, having learned them well by now. She managed not to make any noise on her retreat and she was thankful that she had not woken a pack-mate. At the entrance the air washed over her, thick with the icy chill of winter. It felt so good though for the deep cool to penetrate her lungs that she remained there for several minutes, eyes closed as she deeply inhaled and exhaled.
Snow had fallen in this night, and it traced the entrance to the caverns like a white crayon. Ice had formed on the rocks leading downward and one could barely tell where it began and the snow concluded. It would make for a treacherous climb and yet she took the steps tentatively baring no mind at all that this could lead to a nasty spill down the hill. Rocks jutted out from every direction it seemed, and they were laden with the rime that the other places contained as well. Winter was here, that much was for sure and indicated in the way the entire scenery looked. The trees high above attempted to shake off their blanket of white but were unsuccessful in this feat managing only to drop a few needles and the sleet that were contained on them. Through the silence in the forest she could hear the crackling of vegetation, and high, high above her the calling of birds as they headed for a warmer place. She had never experienced winter before and as such this was all very new to her. She allowed herself to be enamored in the way the white looked, the perfection that it laid about that land. Her paw prints ruined that but there was little she could do but walk onward in awe of the scenery. A new type of chill pressed against her outside, burning her skin through the thickness of fur that rounded her frame. The moon was high above her head, indicating that her dream had woken her in the middle of the night. If she had any concept of the time men used when they were alive, it would have been 2:00 in the morning. The sky was streaked with black velvet and nary a star was in sight, blocked by the pattern of dark clouds that seem to run about the sky with inconsistence. There was a pastel yellow light from the rays of that golden orb in the sky and it made the snow all the prettier. Asdiza was in shock at how the world could transform so easily, in awe over what winter had created. Though she was cold, Asdiza found herself appreciating every single piece that stood in front of her now. The icicles that formed along the limbs of the trees, the snow and its bountiful beauty that ran across the land without a care in the world of who stepped on its blanket.
She sniffed tenderly at the breeze that crossed her and felt her pace continue through the sleet that lined the throat of the world. Here, everything managed to be majestic and for the first time since becoming a part of the Aodh pack, Asdiza realized that she loved this place more than she did her home. Without her family, India would not have been much of a home anyways. Here she had made friends and become an important part of the pack, here she had found someplace that welcomed her for who she was, despite the strange pink eyes she displayed.
She climbed downward still, her paws marking a trail through the snow so she could find her way easily back. She had never explored so far from this place before and it was a new and exhilarating feeling that accompanied this escapade. She felt rather alive actually more so than she had in ages. Somehow the chill managed to provide rejuvenation, invigoration as well as a sense of revival and she burst from the trees with speed ignoring the chance she had of slipping on the icy, snowy terrain. The prints left behind her were mangled now from her gait and she flicked up a flurry of sleet behind her as she ran, feeling the cold of winter in her lungs. Exuberance had captured her now, propelling her onward though she knew not where she headed. She ran with the moon as her companion, following her even in the shade of the trees. He watched her with his rays upon her back, guiding her forward as if making sure that she did not slip or fall. Perfectly accurate and attuned with her body she was, not missing a single beat as she crossed places she had never been before. Her tongue pulled from her lips, lolling to the side as she began to pant. This allowed for deeper exerted breaths to rip from her maw, enabled her to run further, faster. She was strike of lightening against the backdrop of the land, seemingly untiring in the early morning. Her mind should have been tendered with a thousand thoughts and yet she concentrated on only what lay in front of her. She dodged the saplings and fir trees, leapt over fallen logs with the grace of an equine. Her mind navigated a flawless plan through this dense place of foliage. She was a warrior of the woods, ripping through it as if she owned it.
Shadows played with her mind, making her see things that were not there. The moon dipped behind the streaks of clouds that filled the sky, and she was left in the darkness, navigating with no light. Though pastel pink eyes could see some, they could not detect all and she was forced to slow down.
Appraising her surroundings now she wondered exactly how far she had run as it seemed she had left behind the lands of Aodh altogether. This place was unfamiliar and in some respect probably dangerous for a wolf who knew not where she was.
Asdiza panted heavily in the wake of her lengthy run and stopped to allow herself to catch her breath. It came out in crystalized smog and danced in front of her eyes for just a moment before disappearing, as if it had never been there at all. If she had been running from her nightmare she would call this a success for it no longer haunted her as it did in the caverns. The terrain beneath her feet was wet and cold, and it was then she realized that she had found a lake. Its thick rapids were relentless against the fragile sands covered with snow. The water level was high, one could tell from the trees that were now captivated entirely in water, being pushed by the rapidness of the waves. It ran just as she had a few moments ago, as fast and free as anything she ever knew. Its wild motion made her draw close and underneath her feet fragile ice cracked. She stopped, alerted to the sound and in an instant her paws were subjected to the biting cold of the dashing river. She withdrew; recoiling against the deep and penetrating cold the water had to offer and watched it with a new found respect.
In India she had never experienced anything similar to winter; every sensation that came with the season was both fascinating and exhilarating. Asdiza wondered if she would ever tire of it. Suddenly, very suddenly actually, she was subjected to a memory of her loved ones romping in the lakes back home. Her mother had always been playful and she allowed the pups to play in the lake as she watched nearby with Asdiza’s father. They were so tender back then; they loved each other more than Asdiza though possible. Having never experienced those types of feelings before it was no wonder she did not understand it. In the later days they had begun to drift apart only because the stress the humans provided on their resources. Once they had been captured, everything fell apart. Not only the relationship in which her parents had created but also deterioration between her and her father. It wasn’t his fault, he was changing because of the disease, but that didn’t stop the fact that it had hurt when he began to fail under the pressure of the illness. She wondered now if she had stayed behind with them, if she would have succumbed to the same fate. She closed her eyes against such silly things and re-opened them to focus on the rushing of the water. She had composed herself now, even after having run so long. Her tongue no longer lolled from the side of her mouth, and her chest no longer rose and fell in deep, laboured breaths.
She sat herself at the edge of the waters, watching the way they moved with the motion of the wind, ripping everything up underneath the surface. This insipid had no concern for which it terrorized it simply burst with fury, allowing no one to get close for fear of being pulled beneath the current. It dashed away from her and she could see remnants of bark and trees being tossed like they were nothing at all. Indeed, one must be careful in this season when they admired it, for it was as deadly as it was gorgeous.
Blinking, Asdiza wondered what the other pack members were up to right now, namely she wanted to know about Ink. She found that her attention was pulled to the Alphess a lot and though she couldn’t explain it she didn’t exactly mind. She had become so close with Ink since arriving in these lands, they had so much in common and somehow it made the lands of Aodh feel a little more welcoming. With this thought in her brain she stood and stared at the flowing of the rapid river, watching as it appeared merciless in the wake of vegetation and terrain.
When she looked up at the stars she noticed the moon had found her again and she watched its glow bath the world in golden. Silently Asdiza wondered if maybe…somewhere…one of her family members were looking at the same sky, wondering perhaps the exact same thing…
