Remus watched as Sacred cautiously moved through the underbrush after shooting Remus a large, devious grin. Her movements were slow and cautious, moving as to not alert the huge creature before her. Remus watched her slide on her belly, as she slid closer and closer. He heard her whisper quietly, but couldn't quite make out the words. But it wasn't quiet enough. The buck and the doe went crazy, running in driven fear toward Remus, who had been lazing back on a rock. His movements were quick, all reflexes as he jumped up and flung himself out of the way of the buck. Immediately, after the buck passed, he jumped up and rushed after it, having the advantage of not being shocked. He jumped, and sunk his teeth into the bucks back, grabbing tightly with his powerful canines. He tugged and pulled, the buck bucking and kicking his powerful legs. Remus released, and ended up getting kicked in the face, while the buck fell to the ground. Remus felt right where he had been kicked, and his vision was hazy. He slowly began to get up, hoping Sacred was nearby to finish the crazy buck off. He had been kicked in the eye, he could feel it swelling, and attempted to open it, although it was being sealed shut.

the past is a wonderful place to visit, but not to stay
Realizing Remus wasn't ready, she swiveled and prepared to jump if neccessary, the buck hit him in the face, fliging him backwards, his eye akready had a bluish quality. If they wanted food, she knew she had to act quickly. Sacred burst out of the undergrowth and lunged at the buck, hit his neck at a painful angle. It let out a noise of distress, shaking and kicking, put Sacred had latched on and wasn't letting go. Using it's strength against it, Sacred pushed of it's shoulders as the buck shook it's head, cause a broken neck, with a last twitch, the mighty beast fell to the forest floor, Sacred jumped away before it landed on her, she hurried towards Remus, hoping he was okay.
"Are you alright?" Noting the colouring of his puffy eye, she guessed no, "Do you need anything?"
Sacred looked back at the buck, making sure no scavengers had thought it was a buffet, that was the last thing she needed. Looking back to Remus, she tensed ready to retrieve something. The plan had worked..mostly, except he wasn't suppose to be injured.
The sounds that enveloped Remus' ears told him Sacred had gotten the buck. He lay on the ground, on his side as he attempted, over and over again, to open his eye. His right eye was open slightly, but refused to open any further without the other one to accompany it. Instead he lay there, and realized he was whining in pain. And then the pain really started to kick in. His eye not only stung, but ached like he had been hit in the funny bone, although much worse. He couldn't shed a tear either, even if he'd wanted to. He heard Sacred's voice, but couldn't quite make out the words in his dazed state. He stared helplessly at the darkness, and the blurry light that managed to break through his partially opened eyelid. He simply lay there, hoping Sacred wasn't requesting an answer. This reminded him of the time his sister had been clawed in the face by a bear, and lost her eye. Suddenly, Remus pondered, did he lose an eye? Is his beauty forever lost? The simple thought made him worry endlessly. He continued to attempt to open his eye, trying harder and harder, putting more and more strain, and pain, into his injured eye.

A paniced expression came upon the whinning Remus' face. He was trying harder and harder to open his damaged eye, the more he tried the more the pain increased.
"Stop it." Sacred snapped, walking over to him, "It's still there, your just going to have a black eye for a bit. I'll be back, stay here, I'm going to get water, hopefully it will help that." Swiveling Sacred bounded off towards the sound of water. When she stood face to face with it, terror gripped her, making it impossible to move. Although it was only enough to cover barely over her head, she was petrified, panic threatened to take over. Biting down on her bottom lip, Sacred kept telling herself that Remus was in wose shape, and if she didn't hurry he may become permanently blind. Taking a deep breath Sacred grabbed a mouthful of moss and dunked it in water, letting it soak. When it became drenched, she hurried off, the terror seized when she reached Remus, she was good in a bad situation, unless it involved water..
Running over to Remus she set the moss down so she could once again speak. "Lay your head down, I have some moss to put on your eye." Her voice was soft but held a commanding power.
