Senre had been wandering about for part of the day, he had not yet met anyone from these lands, nor had he discovered a female who would fully consume his attention, bare his pups, amuses his darker side. Shifting through the edge of the tree line his ears twist in a twitch, hearing water near. Wonderful.. A drink. His words for himself, not paying much mind to who wandered near. Perhaps a nap, too.
The large male shifted out of the brush at the rivers side, his tongue falling from the side of his mouth in thirst. He lazily trudged in closer to the rivers age, his large paws making imprints into the dirt as it grew softer as he neared the waters edge. Once mud started to squish between his paws he took only a few steps closer to the waters edge before he crouched, his tongue hitting the water as he began lapping up the water, not caring in the water if he was sloppy.
Once quenching his thirst he rises, pushing himself out of the way of the mud and onto dryer land. Kicking his paws out in front of him, his front half lowers, his rump held high in the air as his form gave a full on stretch. A pleasing growling rumbling from his form. Tugging himself upright, his eyes began to gaze over the area, seeking a spot in which to take his nap in.
Although Dakota had a pack to attend to, it didn't stop the knight from leaving packlands. Never would it. She loved the silence of where the loners left, and she would never meet new wolves living in a pack, where everyone knew each other. Never. Feeling the soft snow beneath her paws, she began to think of the warmth from her mother as a puppy. Of course. She always thought of her mother, and father, and the risks they made for her. She was very grateful, and always would be. It was just her nature.
Moving with stiff steps, her clumsy movements making a ruckus as she crashed through the bushes, she had no fear of other wolves. Suddenly, being completely unaware of her surroundings, the knight nearly crashed right into another brute. She leapt back. "My! I am so sorry, lad. I wasn't paying attention" She chuckled in her deep, brutish baritones. She hardly tried to appear like a brute, but instead, it came naturally. She never meant too. Although she prefers the company of brutes more for friends and to amuse herself with, and females to adore, she wouldn't hesitate to give up her brutish self for a male that she loved. It was just her nature.

Senre's head bobbed up as he was smacked not, is bulky form steadied against the effects. Turning his head down towards the other he starred for a moment. Pay attention. Are the only words he would bother with the other, his large frame moving back to the task of finding a nap spot. The scent of the other tell him everything he cared to know. The new being was female, despite the way it spoke and acted. He wouldn't care to find out why, he had already gathered that this female would not be of interest to him.
Coming upon a tree his twists to drag his side against the bark, scratching his side in the process. He hadn't ventured far from the female, as he was expecting her to just go on her way. Or at least he hoped, he always found that some wolves just didn't know how to step away.
His muzzle lowered as he came across a bush, poking around in the mess of loose twigs and dead berries that squished against the ground. Lifting his paw he kicked the berries as he passed the bush, not really haven't meant to. Craning his head he lifts it, letting his gaze drift off to see if the female was still about.
"Pay attention," the brute muttered after staring at Dakota for what felt like forever. Finally, the brute turned and hobbled onto his way. Dakota fumed. How dare he talk to her like that. Sure, she wasn't really paying attention, but she was instead thinking about her parent's. Her chest rumbled quietly, and Dakota hoped the brute was far enough away not to hear it. She always had problems with her temper, and has since she was young, a pup. It was something she's never thought to try to keep in, until now.
The brutish femme took many deeps breaths, and began to follow the male. Perhaps she could make a friend. Yes, she needed a friend. Her pawsteps weren't much softer than before, but now she was much more cautious, and moving at a slow pace. Yes, this was better. She was following his footprints, not trusting her nose. Finally, she saw the brute, poking around a bush full of dead berries. She was about to slink into the bushes when he craned his neck around, looking right at her. "You shouldn't be so curt," she scolded, her baritones deep, plastered with a teasing tone. She sported a boyish grin, just to reassure the brute she was teasing. Her long legs moved automatically, closing the distance between her and the brute quickly, with long strides. Standing about twenty feet away, she spoke again. "I'm Dakota, and yourself?"

It wouldn't come to a surprise as he laid eyes on the female again. How annoying. He thought. But as the words from the other hit his ears, it amused him that the other had the nerve, even if she had been attempting to joke around. As she introduced herself his head just turned away.
He would carry on a short distance, his mind still set on finding something to eat. His tail swayed idly to and from as he moved. his large paws leaving prints in the melting snow mud mixture. After a moment his head would lift again, looking at the other. It wouldn't harm him to be decent. Senre, is my name.
Dakota was prepared to apologize for running into the brute, and perhaps have a discussion, but instead, after her joke, the stranger turned his head, and walked away. So this was the way he was. Dakota raised her eyebrows. It now became a game for Dakota, whether the brute liked it or not. Her steps were slow and loud as she continued after him. Suddenly, his head turned around. "Senre, is my name." Dakota stood and looked at him, her copper eyes watching him slowly as she spoke.
"Pleasure to meet you, Senre," Her baritones very deep. She at him, and approached him until she was only a few tail lengths away. "I'm sorry for being so rude with my little comment back there. I really am. But it seems like you were looking for something, so I was wondering if I could possibly help?" Dakota's voice was suggestive, although she would leave him if he decided no, and didn't want to speak with her. It was all up to the brute now.

Taking a moment his ears give a twitch as the other continued to follow, and even spoke. A smirk set upon his features as he took in her words.
What do I need help with? His nose shifted over the dead grass, taking in the scent of it, hoping it didn't smell too much like someone different. Kicking his front paws out in front of him his body gives a full stretch before he takes to settling against the patch. Twisting he makes it onto his side, his neck stretching out along the grass, his jaw widening into a yawn.
He would relax against the ground, spacing out slightly, it didn't seem to matter that the female was still near. He didn't feel as if Dakato was going to be any sort of threat to him, so he wouldn't feel the need to worry about what she was going to do, or would do. His icy blue optics glowered just slightly before he lets his eyes shut, his ears perked up in attention. .

Walk! | Talk! | Think! | Word Count: 206

The brute in front of her smirked after she spoke, and spoke after her. "What do I need help with?" He asked, and Dakota regarded the brute in frustration. The effort she needed to make just to enjoy a conversation was much more than she was getting out of the conversation. "Well, that would be my question, lad. I was just simply offering to help you find something if you were looking for something," Her vocals were again deep, but soft, and slightly higher in annoyance. She watched as the dark brute in front of her snuffed some grass, and then laid down, and although his ears remained perked in attention, his orbs slid shut. Dakota raised her eyebrows, suddenly understanding what he had been searching for. A place to nap. A short chuckle escaped her maw, and immediately, she spoke up. "Well, as it seems you've found what you were looking for, I can leave you be if that's what you desire,"
